Watching next week’s USA Pro Cycling Challenge got a lot easier when the Colorado Department of Transportation announced Monday it would allow 24 hours of roadside camping along the routes.

State officials said parking and camping will be allowed along Colorado highways starting 24 hours before the stage begins. Spectators must camp completely off the road and clear their trash.

“We have a real good relationship with CDOT and the organization of road closures throughout the race,” said Stacie Lange, a spokesperson for the race.

CDOT has set up a website () for updates on road closures and delays.
