Centennial City Manager Jacque Wedding-Scott resigned Friday, telling officials it was time to move on.

City spokeswoman Allison Wittern said the City Council expected to vote Monday night about the terms of her departure.

Wittern said Wedding-Scott informed the council a couple of weeks ago of her plan to step down. Since then, she has been in negotiations with the city.

Wedding-Scott could not be reached for comment.

She was named city manager in August 2007 after serving as acting city manager for about three months.
