
A man who was fatally shot in the head at a Denver hotel was identified today and police continue to look for a suspect in the case.
The shooting happened Sunday afternoon on the second floor of the Knights Inn Denver, 2601 Zuni St., Denver police said.
The victim was identified this afternoon as Brandon Sigala, 27, of Denver, according to the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
Sigala was pronounced dead at the Denver Health Medical Center. The coroner’s office said Sigala died of a gunshot wound to the head and his manner of death is a homicide.
The shooter fled the hotel in a white Chevrolet Suburban, police said, and he remains at large.
Police do not believe the general public is in danger. A motive in the shooting was not released.
