It was only a matter of time until we would hear that has canceled his tour. Now after a series of postponements it’s official — Morrissey will not perform the rest of his scheduled tour dates, including the Denver show in April.

“The singer has suffered a series of medical mishaps over the past few months including a bleeding ulcer, Barrettap esophagus and double pneumonia,” according to a news release. “Despite his best efforts to try to continue touring, Morrissey has to take a hiatus and will not be able to continue on the rest of the tour.”

The show was first announced in June of 2012, and before it was finally canceled today, had been rescheduled twice. Morrissey would have played on April 26 at the Temple Buell Theatre. Refunds for the remaining shows are available at point of purchase.
