Baseball Hall of Famer Joe Morgan will lead the partying poultry next Saturday in Cincinnati. Morgan, a 10-time all-star and National League MVP in 1975 and 1976 when the Reds won World Series titles, is the second former Red to lead the World’s Largest Chicken Dance at Oktoberfest-Zinzinnati, joining Joe Nuxhall, who did it in 2007. “In the long and storied history of the event, we have never had a chicken dancer with so much on-the- job experience,” event organizer Patrick Sheeran said, referring to Morgan’s trademark flapping arm in the batter’s box during his playing days.
