GEORGETOWN, Colo.—It’s not even fall yet and the Colorado State Patrol is already warning motorists to be aware of ice on high country highways.
The patrol closed Interstate 70 near the Eisenhower tunnel on Sunday to clear six separate accidents.
State Patrol Trooper Nate Reid tells KUSA-TV ( ) that motorists used to summertime road conditions should get ready for the coming snow and ice.
