Bryant Moniz wanted to score every time he touched the ball. He almost did. Moniz set a Hawaii record and tied the NCAA mark by throwing seven touchdown passes in the first half as the Warriors routed UC Davis 56-14 on Saturday night. “Something that drove us was that every series, I told the guys that we wouldn’t leave the field without points,” said Moniz, who led the Warriors to a 49-0 lead before sitting out the second half. The senior tied Florida’s Terry Dean (1994) and Doug Johnson (1997) and San Diego State’s Dennis Shaw (1969) for the record.
