NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee receiver Kenny Britt will need season-ending surgery on his right knee.
“Unfortunately . . . (Britt) tore his ACL and his MCL, so he will be out for the season,” Titans coach Mike Munchak said Monday.
The injury leaves Tennessee with four receivers, and team officials said they will be working out receivers today.
Packers’ Bulaga hurts knee
GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga has a sprained and bruised left knee, leaving it unclear whether he will be able to play against the Broncos this weekend.
Running back Ryan Grant has a kidney bruise, and outside linebacker Brad Jones has a hamstring strain. Their availability for the Broncos’ game also was unclear.
Irsay clarifies statements
INDIANAPOLIS — Colts owner Jim Irsay used Twitter to clarify comments he reportedly made indicating quarterback Peyton Manning would miss the rest of this season because of a neck injury.
“I didn’t say Peyton out 4season FOR SURE, keeping him on ActiveRoster n taking it month by month/Outside chance of return n December possible,” Irsay wrote.
Meanwhile, quarterback Kerry Collins was being evaluated for a concussion.
