If anything was proven Saturday night at , it’s that classic rock fans come for the music and could care less who may be delivering it. Just as long as it takes them back to that time in their lives when the music meant the most to them.

The current lineup of Journey only includes three original members in keyboardist Jonathan Cain, bassist Ross Valory and lead guitarist Neal Schon. The voice that gave the group its rise to popularity, Steve Perry, has been replaced in the talent of 44-year-old Filipino singer-songwriter Arnel Pineda.

Pineda’s voice matches that of Perry’s and no jeers came from the sold out crowd, which was just happy to get a chance to hear the songs they love so much, live and in concert.

Pineda played to the Colorado crowd by appearing in a Tim Tebow jersey and the audience received a bonus semi-celebrity sighting when famed White House party crasher Michaele Salehi appeared on stage with her new beau in Neal Schon as he concluded the guitar solo on “Faithfully.”

Journey delivered on all its hits, concluding the encore and the show with “Don’t Stop Believing,” still the top-selling catalog track in iTunes history.
