ELLICOTT, Colo.—A former school board member in a small Colorado town has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a child, a month after her arrest on charges of sexting a 14-year-old.
The Gazette of Colorado Springs reports ( ) 37-year-old Stefanie Dickinson was arrested Wednesday at her home in Ellicott, about 20 miles east of Colorado Springs.
A person who answered the phone at Dickinson’s home Wednesday said Dickinson wasn’t available.
A court document says the assault charge involves a child under the age of 15 in June 2008.
Dickinson was arrested in September on a charge of Internet luring. An arrest warrant affidavit accuses her of sending the 14-year-old text messages with references to her expertise in performing sexual acts.
Dickinson resigned from the Ellicott board in late September.
