Jefferson County investigators have released surveillance photos of four people suspected of stealing from two purses while the owners were distracted last month.
The foursome has gotten away with wallets and credit cards. In one case, on Sept. 15, a woman was having lunch at a Panera Bread restaurant in Sheridan, when two credit cards were stolen from her purse.
The cards were soon used at a Target store in Jefferson County.
The next day, a woman lost her entire wallet from her purse while shopping at a Costco in Superior. Her credit cards were used at a Lowes in Louisville, and a Target in Superior.
