Within 24 hours of the 33rd annual Brass Ring Luncheon and Fashion Show, Denver’s weather switched from balmy to blustery. CBS4 weatherman Ed Greene, who was master of ceremonies for this event benefiting the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes, let everyone know that a big snowstorm was on its way, a warning that appeared to give everyone a greater appreciation for the luxurious and cozy capes and jackets that were part of Vancouver-based designer RozeMerie Cuevas’ fall and winter collections. Eight hundred people were at the luncheon chaired by Kathy Crapo; Joanne Davidson has the details in her Seen First blog: . Joanne Davidson: 303-809-1314 or jdavidson@denverpost.com
