Greenwood Village-based HealthTrans LLC will be purchased by SXC Health Solutions Corp. for $250 million in cash, the Illinois company announced today.
A statement by SXC said the purchase aims to expand its health-care benefit management portfolio.
HealthTrans offers claims processing solutions and pharmacy benefit management services.
The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2012. It will be funded primarily with existing cash on hand, SXC said.
