A burglar, or burglars, hit a tattoo parlor and consignment shop in Rifle, making off with about $10,000 in jewelry, cash and other items.

The break-in happened during the early morning hours Friday at 201 West 2nd St., which houses The Country Attic and Ink Side Out Tattoos, according to a Garfield County Sheriff’s Office media release.

Anyone with information on the burglary, or on possible suspects, is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Garfield County at 970 945-0101, or visit and click on the “report a tip” tab. Tipsters can remain anonymous and information could possibly lead to a $1,000 reward.
