How grand a celebration was the Spreading Wings Gala that paid tribute to the 70th anniversary of the Tuskegee Airmen? The 800 guests not only got to meet a dozen or so of the fabled fliers, they also were treated to videotaped messages from President Barack Obama, actors Harrison Ford and John Travolta and “Good Morning America” co-host Robin Roberts. In addition, they heard an overview of plans to build a Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum-sponsored educational campus at Centennial Airport.
