Three World Cup races scheduled for next week in France have been moved to Beaver Creek because of insufficient snow at Val d’Isere, giving Vail’s Lindsey Vonn a chance to race World Cup in her home valley for the first time.

Beaver Creek will host a men’s giant slalom next Tuesday, a women’s super-G on Wednesday and a men’s slalom on Thursday.

Those races follow already scheduled men’s races at Beaver Creek this weekend: downhill on Friday, super-G Saturday and giant slalom on Sunday.
