An 18-year-old man who was shot in the neck in Denver on Friday and dropped off at an Aurora hospital, was pronounced dead later that day.

Around noon, Dwayne Morris of Denver, was loaded into a car and driven to Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora after he was shot near 13144 E. Robins Dr., according to a news release from the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.

Morris died from the gunshot wound at 6:03 p.m. His death was ruled a homicide.

When officers arrived there was no one at the scene, according to a news release from the Denver Police Department.

Aurora Police officers took the two men who drove Morris to the emergency room in for questioning.

Reports on Friday stated that the two men were arrested in Aurora. No one has been arrested in the case.

Several other people at the Robins Drive address were also brought in for questioning.
