An 18-year-old man who was shot in the neck in Denver on Friday and dropped off at an Aurora hospital was pronounced dead later that day, officials announced Tuesday.
Around noon, Dwayne Morris of Denver was loaded into a car and driven to Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora after he was shot near 13144 E. Robins Drive, according to a news release from the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
Morris died from the gunshot wound at 6:03 p.m. His death was ruled a homicide. Aurora police officers took the two men who drove Morris to the emergency room in for questioning, but no one has been arrested in the case.
