GOLDEN, Colo.—The estranged husband of a woman who died in 2003, his twin and his twin’s wife have been advised of the charges they face in her death.

Thirty-nine-year-old Daniel DeWild, David DeWild and 50-year-old Mary Roseanne DeWild made their first court appearance in the case Thursday, with a public defender representing them. An indictment lists charges of first-degree murder after deliberation and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder against each. Each is being held on $1 million bond.

They are accused in the death of Daniel DeWild’s 30-year-old wife Heather Jean DeWild, who disappeared a week before her final divorce hearing in 2003. Her body was later found near Golden.

The indictment doesn’t say how she died but alleges Daniel, David and Mary Roseanne DeWild worked together to bury her body.
