BOULDER, Colo.—The Louisville City Council has approved an incentive package to Boulder Wind Power for the company to move from Boulder to Louisville.

The startup company specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced turbine generator technology. It expects to employ up to 30 people.

The Daily Camera reports () Louisville will rebate 50 percent of the use taxes Boulder Wind Power pays for equipment and tools purchased elsewhere, capping the rebate at $531,000 over five years. The city also expects to rebate about $14,000 in sales tax the company would generate.

Boulder Wind Power plans to retain a testing facility it has in Montana.
