PHOENIX — Authorities say an Arizona State University student last seen 10 days ago has been found alive in a remote area.
Sheriff’s spokesman Gerry Blair said 23-year-old Lauren Weinberg was discovered snowbound in her vehicle just before noon Wednesday in southeastern Coconino County. Blair said she was cold, wet and hungry but ecstatic to be found. She melted snow for water but had little food.
