A man with his face wrapped in gauze and dirty medical tape, except for one peep-hole for his right eye, robbed a Boulder bank this morning.
Police said the oddly garbed robber also wore a teal-colored knit beanie. He didn’t show a gun but demanded cash from a teller at the Great Western Bank at 2775 Pearl St., then ran west from the bank about 10:30 a.m.
He appeared to be white, and he was about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 180 pounds, and 25 to 30 years old, police said.
He was wearing blue jeans, boots, a black hoodie and a teal ski jacket over the hoodie.
Police are investigating whether today’s robbery is related to one at another Great Western branch at 1900 9th St. on Dec. 16.
