PUEBLO, Colo.—Pueblo police say a man is suspected of hitting his landlord in the head with a hammer on Christmas Day.
KKTV reported Monday ( ) that Albert Hayes is being without bond on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder. The television station says the landlord is an elderly woman and that she was taken to a hospital but her condition is unknown.
Authorities they arrested Hayes after receiving a call about a disturbance Sunday evening.
