No one saw the person that fired several rounds from a semi-automatic weapon into a second-story apartment Thursday night, in the small town of Kersey, Colorado.
The Weld County Sheriff’s Office said the shooting happened at the Sandy Knoll four-plex on the south side of town.
Several of the shots hit a 50-year-old male who was home with one other adult and three children. The man was taken by ambulance to North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley in serious condition. He was later transferred to Denver Health.
Public Information Officer Margie Martinez, says they’re still interviewing possible witnesses but so far, they have no information on the suspect’s description or a possible vehicle if one was involved.
