CHEYENNE, Wyo.—Authorities say a 72-year-old woman was killed when the pickup truck she was in crashed head-on into a tractor-trailer in southwestern Wyoming.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says Jeannine A. Fancher, of Aberdeen, Wash., was killed in the crash on U.S. Highway 30 about five miles south of Cokeville just after 8 a.m. Thursday.

The patrol says 50-year-old Connie R. Langille, who lost control of the pickup on the icy roadway, was injured and was taken to a hospital in Salt Lake City. The driver of the tractor-trailer, identified as 53-year-old Keith A. Peter, of Greeley, Colo., also was injured and was treated at a hospital in Kemmerer. He has since been released.

The extent of Peter’s and Langille’s injuries was not released.
