Colorado Springs police arrested three people and several electronics were found in the stolen SUV the group was driving early this morning.
A Chevy Suburban, which was reported stolen on Dec. 27, was stopped by an officer in the 700 block of North Academy Boulevard around 2:05 a.m., according to the Colorado Springs Police Department’s blotter.
Police arrested Tiffany Pappadakis, 20, Andreas Green, 27 and Nickalas Jensen, 30. The three face several charges including theft by receiving, attempting to influence a public official and other drug related charges.
Officers found electronic equipment and other evidence from the back of the Suburban. Authorities believe the suspects may have been stole from other vehicles or mail theft.
The SUV was returned to its owners.
The investigation is ongoing.
