Denver police on Wednesday arrested a 17-year-old male who is suspected of committing 20 armed robberies in the last two weeks of December.

His name was not released because he is a juvenile. The robberies occurred between Dec. 16 and Dec. 28, sometimes as many as three in the same night, police said.

He was arrested at a home in Aurora on Wednesday. Most of the businesses he is suspected of robbing were convenience stores, but he also is accused of robbing three Subway sandwich shops, a Mexican restaurant and a dry cleaner.
