ARVADA, Colo.—Arvada police say a Denver sheriff’s deputy has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a child.
Police said Friday that 39-year-old Jorge Quinones (Key-NO-nez) is suspected of fondling a girl in a car in late December.
Police aren’t releasing any details about the relationship between Quinones and the girl to protect her identity.
He was arrested Thursday and was being held at the Jefferson County jail. It isn’t known if he has an attorney.
