LOVELAND, Colo.—Sheriff’s officials are looking for a man accused of impersonating a police officer and sexually assaulting a woman he had stopped in Loveland.

Larimer County sheriff’s spokesman John Schulz said Friday the woman wasn’t physically injured and didn’t have to go to a hospital.

A woman in her 20s reported she was stopped around 10 p.m. Thursday by a man in a dark, older-model, police-style sedan with a red light and spotlights on the driver and passenger sides.

The man is described as a white man of medium height and build with longer, graying hair cut above the ears and blue eyes. He did not show a badge or gun belt but was wearing dark uniform-style clothing with a patch on the shoulder.
