Authorities are investigating two fires at an Aurora apartment complex this morning, after both fires appear to be arson.
Around 2:20 a.m., firefighters arrived at the Windsor Court Apartments near 16th Avenue and Joliet Street, said Capt. Allen Robnett, spokesman for the Aurora Fire Department.
Two buildings were on fire when crews arrived. The fires were quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported this morning.
Investigators later discovered that someone sprayed a flammable liquid on an exterior wall of each building. Further tests will determine what liquid was possibly used.
The fire displaces three families — a total of seven people.
Authorities do not have any suspect information at this time.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Aurora Police Department or the Aurora Fire Department.
