GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Mesa County District Attorney Pete Hautzinger is asking the FBI to investigate after questions were raised over a Colorado state trooper’s credibility.
The district attorney is reviewing nearly 400 cases filed by former state trooper Donald Moseman after a state patrol investigation found that the trooper submitted improper case reports and displayed bias during investigations.
According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel ( ), the district attorney wants to know if any federal laws were violated.
Denver FBI spokesman Dave Joly said he couldn’t confirm or deny any investigation.
