The King and Queen of Hearts, along with other costumed characters from “Alice in Wonderland,” were standing by to greet the hundreds of loyal subjects who showed their commitment to promoting good heart health by attending the 2012 Heart Ball. FirstBank Holding Co. president/CEO John Ikard chaired this dinner-dance held at the Hyatt Regency Convention Center and reports that it looks like the goal of raising $650,000 for the AHA’s research and education programs will be met. Ikard’s 12-member leadership team included Drs. Dunbar Ivy, Jim Jaggers and Reginald Washington.
