FORT COLLINS — A bid to build a new football stadium on the campus of Colorado State University begins tonight as an advisory committee meets for the first time to consider the idea.
Although no public comment will be gathered, a crowd of skeptics also will be on hand to make sure officials will weigh their concerns before anything official is decided.
The committee will oversee several aspects of the stadium proposal, including public input, site selection, funding sources, and hiring contractors and consultants to support the proposal. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the North Ballroom of the Lory Student Center.
