LOVELAND — -Developers at Artspace Projects Inc. know that the artist studios and residences they build in downtown Loveland next year will meet but a small sliver of the city’s demand.

So, they will build more, the nonprofit Minneapolis-based real estate developer’s senior vice president said prior to appearing at a Loveland gathering on Thursday.

“I think we should do another one or two here,” Artspace’s Wendy Holmes said. “If we’re oversubscribed on this project, and we will be, then we’ll do that.”

A group of about 40 city officials and arts community boosters later heard Holmes and Denver architect Kevin Yoshida describe the three-story, $8.6 million project that will provide homes and work spaces for 30 artists and families adjacent to the historic Feed and Grain mill in downtown Loveland.
