LONGMONT, Colo.—Republican Rick Santorum’s campaign is making last-minute calls to voters urging them to support the former senator’s presidential campaign in the Colorado caucuses.
Some registered Republicans were getting automated calls from the campaign about 90 minutes before the Tuesday night caucuses.
One automated call appealed to voters to encourage heterosexual marriage and parenting.
Some Colorado voters received up to three Santorum campaign calls in the days before the caucuses—some of them automated, and others placed by campaign workers.
