
Denver fashion designers, along with fashion merchandising and marketing students from Johnson & Wales University’s Catwalk Club, will present a fashion show at 8 p.m. Friday in the Wildcat Center on the JWU campus. Among the local talents participating are Gabriela Designs, Kimono Dragon, Lisa Wear Clothing, C Marie, Musso by Erin, Barrera, so Whimsy, Hotel, Sifteez and Havea LoLo. JWU student Juan Jimenez, 21, at right with model, will be showing his 30-piece women’s collection. The junior in fashion merchandising did a public-relations internship at Tom Ford in New York last year, earning credit at JWU and learning about the industry. One of his assignments was to deliver dresses to Vogue editor Anna Wintour. Of the whole experience, Jimenez said, “It was fast- paced and stressful. I learned a lot!” Doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the show is at 8 p.m.General-admission tickets available at the door for $25, or $15 with a student ID, 7039 Montview Blvd.
