DENVER—A veteran Denver television anchor is recovering after undergoing reconstructive surgery for injuries after she was bitten in the face by a dog.
Kyle Dyer was bitten during a Wednesday morning live broadcast while doing a story about a dog rescued by a firefighter. The station reported Thursday that Dyer is doing better after the surgery.
The dog was impounded after Michael Robinson, the dog’s owner, was cited with failure to have his dog on a leash, allowing his dog to bite and failure to have a vaccinated dog.
