HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo.—Sheriff’s officials in suburban Denver have arrested a high school student after a report of a threat against students and staff at his school.

Access to ThunderRidge High School and Ranch View Middle School in Highlands Ranch was limited Tuesday afternoon as a precaution after school district officials and Douglas County sheriff’s officials received information about a threat against ThunderRidge students and staff. Sheriff’s officials also went to both campuses.

Officials haven’t released details of the threat.

Sheriff’s officials say they arrested a boy who attends ThunderRidge on suspicion of interference with staff, faculty or students of educational institutions.
