CANON CITY, Colo.—Hold on to your seats. A new zip line is being built at the scenic Royal Gorge in southern Colorado that will be one of the highest in the world.
The 700-foot zip line will run parallel to the Royal Gorge, 1,100 feet above the canyon floor.
According to the Canon (CAN-yon) City Daily Record, park visitors will be harnessed into a chair for a four-minute ride, beginning in April.
Zip lines are wires that suspended over rivers, ravines and other geographic areas allowing people to zip across using handles or chairs.
