BOULDER, Colo.—The U.S. Forest Service is reopening three climbing areas in Boulder Canyon on Monday.

The Blob Rock, Bitty Buttress and Security Risk climbing areas were closed Feb. 1 to protect golden eagles during their nesting season.

They reopen Monday, but Forest Service officials say the Eagle Rock area will likely remain closed through July 31.
