BOULDER, Colo.—The faith-based, nonprofit SCL Health System says it plans to move its headquarters from Lenexa, Kan., to Colorado, creating 750 new jobs in the Denver area over the next four years.
The company said Wednesday that of those jobs, 550 full-time positions will be in Broomfield, primarily in accounting and billing, information technology and system services.
The Daily Camera reports ( ) SCL Health System employs more than 8,000 people in Colorado. It operates St. Mary Hospital & Regional Medical Center in Grand Junction, Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette, Marillac Clinic in Grand Junction and Mount Saint Vincent Home in Denver.
The move puts headquarters employees closer to those facilities and to Denver International Airport.
