GREELEY, Colo.—Weld County sheriff’s deputies have arrested two people wanted in Larimer County on suspicion of mail and identity theft, plus two of their associates.

Sheriff’s officials say Donald Fredrick Rheubottom of Berthoud and Jessica Lee Hornback of Fort Collins are accused of leading officers on a high-speed chase Monday.

A tip led sheriff’s deputies to a house in Severance, where a renter let them inside Wednesday. Deputies found Hornback and Rheubottom hiding in a closet, and a police dog sniffed out Jesse Malouff of Littleton and 31-year-old Amy Reynolds in the basement.

Hornback and Rheubottom face identity theft charges. The Greeley Tribune reports () Malouff was arrested on Larimer County warrants for aggravated motor vehicle theft and failure to appear in court. Reynolds was arrested on accusations of obstructing an officer.
