GOLDEN, Colo.—A Lakewood man has been sentenced to 48 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to charges he fatally struck a tow truck driver with his SUV.
Zachariah Dobler pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. The tow truck driver, Alan Dilley, was preparing to tow a vehicle at an intersection in Arvada last July.
According to KUSA-TV ( ), the sentence handed down Wednesday was the most that could have been imposed.
