In many ways, is a textbook Brooklyn indie-rock band: guitar-driven melodies, scruffy vocals with a dash of echo and harmonies that are far more quirky than polished. The songs range from straightforward rock and pop numbers to more nuanced, layered compositions with diverse instrumentation. Vocalist Quinn Walker walks the line between an optimistic and dour inflection, though still remains wholly individual in his tone.
