A suspect has been arrested in a Colorado Springs fatal hit-and-run traffic case in which a teenager was killed.
On Tuesday police arrested David Allen Henley Jr., 38, as a suspect in the death of 14-year-old Ricardo Figueroa, according to a Colorado Springs Police Department media release.
Figueroa was hit and killed on Thursday by a driver who did not stop.
Witnesses described the vehicle as a late-1970s to early-1980s pickup truck, possible a Chevrolet, with a “lift kit” and damage to the left front end.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for Henley on Tuesday and he remains in custody this morning.
Investigators have impounded a suspect vehicle in the case.
