Craig Police and Moffat County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a death today at the sandrocks near Ninth and Green streets in Craig.
“The Craig Police Department is investigating a death at the sandrocks and that’s all it is at this point,” Police Department Commander Bill Leonard said at the scene. “More information (will be released) after we have notified the family.”
Gene Bilodeau, a Craig City Council member who lives near the sandrocks, was not at home when authorities arrived on the scene today, but he said this isn’t the first time a death has been reported at the base of the sandrocks.
