A new report released by the Pew Internet Project states that nearly 70 percent of all cellphone owners have used their phones over the past month to perform at least one of the following activities: coordinate a meeting or get-together, solve an unexpected problem, decide whether to visit a business, find information to help settle an argument, look up a score of a sporting event, get up-to-the-minute traffic information, or seek help in an emergency situation.
