GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—A Grand Junction man is facing charges in the death of a 19-month-old child last month.
Authorities say Justin Keel was taken into custody in Grants, N.M., on a warrant Thursday alleging one count of child abuse resulting in death.
Investigators say Owen Reak, who was the son of Keel’s girlfriend, died April 11 in Montrose County.
According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel ( ), the Montrose County Coroner’s Office ruled the preliminary cause of death was blunt force trauma.
