An 18-year-old man was killed and three others were injured early this morning in a two-vehicle crash in Lakewood.
A 1998 Volkswagen Jetta and a Ford truck collided near Kipling Street and Belleview Avenue around 2:30 a.m., said Trooper Josh Lewis, spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol.
The driver of the Jetta, Aaron Thane of Littleton, died shortly after the accident.
Two men, a 22-year-old and a 19-year-old, riding with Thane were taken to Swedish Medical Center for their injuries. Their conditions were unknown.
The 35-year-old man driving the truc, was taken to the hospital for his injuries and later released.
Speed and alcohol are being investigated as a factor in the crash, Lewis said.
It is not yet known if the anyone was wearing a seat belt.
