BRECKENRIDGE, Colo.—Investigators have submitted evidence to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation for analysis as they try to find who killed a man whose body was found at a trailhead near Breckenridge.

The Summit County coroner has said 45-year-old Summit County resident Karl Fred Kohler died of blunt force trauma. His death has been ruled a homicide. His body was found near the Burro Trailhead on May 19.

Investigators have interviewed dozens of people and are following hundreds of leads, but no suspects have been named yet.

Authorities say they don’t think there is any threat to the general public.
